TEDD KITZMILLER, LUTCF

Tedd has been working in the insurance industry for 31 years and possesses a strong background in both life insurance and Long-Term Care. While working for Mutual New York, Tedd was honored as their No. 1 New Agent in the United States. He also won the New Associate of the Year Award and was recognized as a specialist in client services, particularly with “orphaned clients,” those who had been abandoned or disadvantaged by previous agents.

Tedd has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, was written about in Advisor Today magazine, and holds a LUTCF designation. Tedd has been an Investment Advisor Representative and is currently working on renewing his Series 65 license and obtaining his Registered Social Security Analyst designation. He owns decades of experience in offering tax planning and tax-reducing strategies, and specializes in retirement income planning, estate planning and wealth-transfer planning. Tedd does not believe in recommending specific products to his clients, but instead is committed to designing the financial plans that serve their best short-term and long-term interests. His customer-service philosophy is based on listening to his clients and protecting their financial goals above all else.

“I do a thorough fact-finding with individuals, so that I’m carefully listening to them and understanding their fears, goals, dreams and objectives, and what their specific financial circumstances are,” says Tedd. “I have a background in my past of working as counselor and therapist, and I just naturally have always loved working with people and trying to help them. I do think that background enhances my approach to my clients. I have genuine relationships with my clients, and through the years, we have become like family.”

Tedd earned a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Lock Haven University and his Master’s in Counseling from Mississippi State University. In his free time, he likes to ski and golf. Tedd and his wife, Lisa, enjoy traveling all over the world and spending time at the beach and in the mountains. They especially enjoy their time with their children and grandchildren. Tedd and Lisa also volunteer at their local church and participate in a marriage enrichment group.
